Senior IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Silverline Willow Insurance Group and adding a Senior IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
