Senior IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Kansas City, MO)

Harborlight Ridge Community Partners is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for donor records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with donor records. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
