Senior IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Jackson, MS)

Nova Iron Property Management Group is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for maintenance requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 763 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with maintenance requests. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
