Senior IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Jackson, MS)

Northwind Oak Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Jackson. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with fraud alerts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
