Senior IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Jackson, MS)

Northwind Oak Banking Services is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for account openings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with account openings. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
