Senior IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Honolulu, HI)

Redstone Field Construction is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
