Senior IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Hartford, CT)

Foxglove Rowan Health Group is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for insurance authorisations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 190 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
