Senior IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Fort Worth, TX)

Northwind Timber Insurance is an insurance company in Fort Worth with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
