Senior IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Boston, MA)

Cedar Manufacturing is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for tooling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Boston. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
