Senior IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Austin, TX)

Cedar Wilder Staffing is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for retention, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Austin. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with retention. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
