Senior IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Austin, TX)

Harborlight Willow Water Authority is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
