Senior IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Austin, TX)

Harborlight Cobalt Construction is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for safety records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
