Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (San Antonio, TX)

Silverline Amber Water Authority is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
