Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Foxglove Wren Environmental Services Partners is an environmental-services company in San Jose with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
