Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Rivermark Fern Energy Group is an energy provider in Madison focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
