Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Northwind Pike Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Kansas City plant, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
