Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Ironwood Haven Construction is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
