Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Bluepeak Ivory Inspection Services Group tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Houston. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 170 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
