Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (remote)

Summit Maple Community Partners is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for volunteer shifts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 415 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
