Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Pittsburgh, PA)

Nova Glen Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Pittsburgh. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
