Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Orlando, FL)

Ironwood Harbor Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Orlando. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Orlando. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
