Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Orlando, FL)

Fernwood Wren Energy is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for usage data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Orlando, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
