Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Knoxville, TN)

Silverline Sable Manufacturing Associates is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 653 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
