Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Jackson, MS)

Clearpath Pike Water Authority is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
