Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Jackson, MS)

Greenridge Hollow Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Jackson presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with exhibitions. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
