Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Grand Rapids, MI)

Northwind Wren Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Grand Rapids with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
