Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Wren Arts Center and adding a Senior IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
