Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Fort Worth, TX)

Harborlight Lantern Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Fort Worth and nearby communities. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Fort Worth, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
