Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Fort Worth, TX)

Fernwood Lantern Community Partners is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for food distribution, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with food distribution. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
