Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Des Moines, IA)

Bluepeak Vale Community Partners Group is a nonprofit in Des Moines supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with benefits enrolment. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
