Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Charleston, SC)

Amberfield Vista Staffing Group is a Charleston staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with temp assignments. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
