Senior IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Clear Telecom and adding a Senior IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Austin. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
