Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (Virginia Beach, VA)

Highbridge Beacon Staffing Group is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for timekeeping, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 510 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with timekeeping. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
