Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (Toledo, OH)

Harborlight Willow Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Toledo. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
