Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (St. Louis, MO)

Fernwood Hollow Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in St. Louis. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
