Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Redstone Granite Water Authority and adding a Senior IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be help desk. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
