Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (Rochester, NY)

Clearpath Ridge Construction Group delivers building projects for owners across the Rochester region. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with subcontractor invoices. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
