Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (Rochester, NY)

Foxglove Quill Foods is a Rochester food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
