Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (Rochester, NY)

Rivermark Sable Staffing is a Rochester staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with retention. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
