Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (Richmond, VA)

Foxglove Cobalt Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Richmond. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with change orders. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
