Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Westbrook Loom Construction is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for project schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 754 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
