Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Bright Quarry Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Philadelphia. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
