Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Bright Loom Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with account servicing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
