Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Redstone North Markets is a Austin retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with shrink and waste. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
