Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Summit Junction Staffing is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for client orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with client orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
