Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Fernwood Cedar Facilities looks after properties across the Cleveland region, and we need a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with cleaning schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
