Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Northwind Sable Construction Group builds commercial and industrial projects around Des Moines. We are hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist to take on help desk. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
