Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (remote)

Stonegate Forge Foods is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
