Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (Memphis, TN)

Summit Oak Energy is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for meter readings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
