Senior IT Support Specialist - help desk (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Nova Ember Markets Partners and adding a Senior IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be help desk. You would join a small organisation of about 100 people based in Madison. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with shrink and waste. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
